Rev. Dr. Richard I. Diala C.M.; BA., PGDE, MED, STL, STD

Very Rev. Richard was among the first two Nigerian Vincentian priests to undergo and complete their entire novitiate training in Nigeria.  A former Newscaster of the defunct ECBS, and a contributing artiste of Vatican Radio (African Service), he earned his doctorate degree in Youth Pastoral Theology and Catechetics, after his post graduate studies at Unijos and UNN, at the Pontifical Salesian University, Rome, Italy in 1998.
The Irish Vincentians first arrived in Nigeria in November 1960 and began to build churches, train priests and evangelise the poor.  Over the last 50 years, the Vincentians in Nigeria have built seminaries and schools, established prison chaplaincies and youth ministries. They serve in several parishes in Nigeria, they are involved in prison apostolate, and with children with learning disability, among others as part of their Vincentian charism.  Nigeria became a full Province in October 2010.
Very Rev. Richard has been the Parish Priest of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, Peckham in South East London.  He is also the Mission Superior of the Nigerian Vincentians in Europe and Grenada, and bank Chaplain at Kings College Hospital, Denmark Hill, London, He has considerable experience of working with the most disadvantaged members of society, especially in Prison apostolate, in association with the Association of International Charities (AIC), Nigeria and UK, as well as the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. He was the former Principal of Mater Dei Secondary School, Oraifite, Anambra State.  He was also involved in the formation of Catechists, 1998-2002, seminarians, first in the Novitiate 1983-1984, and in the Major Seminary, Bigard Enugu, 2002-2005. He is a trained Hospital Chaplain in Clinical Pastoral Education, (New York). He has M.ED in Guidance and Counseling (UNN). His experience and qualifications will have a huge impact on the direction of charitable activities.


Fr Blaise Amadi C.M., B.Phil, BD, MED

Fr. Blaise Amadi was admitted into the Congregation of the Mission on the 9th of  October 1991 and was ordained a  priest after his philosophical and theological studies on the 3Oth of June 2000. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Education and Masters in Religious Studies from Benue State University, Nigeria.

Since Ordination, Fr  Blaise has worked in various places and held several responsibilities, among which includes: Principal of St. Mary's Secondary School in Ogobia, Nigeria; Director of  St. Justin's Seminary Ogobia; and Parochial Vicar of Immacolata Concezione Prato in Italy.

Fr. Blaise, was the Parish Priest at St. David's Catholic Church in Abbey Wood, South East London,  part-time Chaplain at Kings College Hospital, Denmark Hill, London and currently he is ministering at Christ the King Parish, Burnley, Salford diocese, Lancashire, North West, England.
